About EricYawn.com
Built in a Garage. Tested in Real Life.
I’m Eric.
Not a tech influencer. Not a lifestyle brand.
Just a regular guy working out of his garage trying to figure out which Amazon stuff actually works.
I’ve bought plenty of things that looked amazing online and showed up acting real different in person. Half of them ended up broken, annoying, or quietly shoved into a drawer like we never met.
So I started keeping track of the ones that didn’t waste my time.
That’s this site.
What This Is
This is a short list of smart Amazon finds — tech, home essentials, travel gear, and seasonal stuff — tested by someone who actually uses it.
No studios.
No PR boxes.
No pretending something is great just because it arrived in nice packaging.
If it made my life easier, smoother, or just less irritating, it stayed.
If it didn’t? It’s gone.
The Garage Test
Before anything shows up here, it usually passes at least one of these:
I use it every day and forget it exists
I’d recommend it without adding a warning
I don’t feel stupid after buying it
If I have to explain why it’s good… it’s probably not that good.
What You Won’t Find
Long lists padded out to look impressive
Products I’ve never touched
Reviews that sound like they were written by the product itself
“Life-changing” gadgets that can’t survive a week
I don’t need 50 picks.
I need the right ones.
About the Links
(Quick and Honest)
Some links here are Amazon affiliate links. If you buy something, I may earn a small commission.
That money helps me keep testing stuff.
It doesn’t buy good reviews and I’m to small time to get free stuff!
If something’s trash, it doesn’t make the list. Simple as that.
The Point
This site is for people who:
Don’t want to overthink a purchase
Don’t trust hype
Don’t want to return another box
One regular guy, doing the work, trying to save you a little time and money.
If you find something solid here, mission accomplished.
